SoLD Allies

SoLD Allies are field leaders and organizations who believe that:

  • The science of learning and development holds multiple powerful, positive lessons regarding the great potential in each and every young person, and what must be true in our education and other youth-serving systems to help every young person thrive.
  • While these findings have significant implications for the learning and development of all young people, they are and must be used particularly as drivers of equity that shine new light on what we can and must do to provide full and equal opportunity to the young people least served by our current systems.
  • That ensuring every young person thrives will require a transformation in education and youth development systems (and has implications for broader systems and their integration), and SoLD is committed to working individually and collectively to build systems that are aligned with the science of learning and development and designed for equity.
